BCKM konnte sich über ein reges Interesse und eine gelungenen Präsentation freuen.

 For the fourth consecutive time at Inter Expo and Congress Center was held the Balkan Gate for Apparel and Textile Exhibition – BGate. More than 120 firms from Bulgaria and the region – manufacturers and representatives of companies from Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, etc. showed the latest branch trends – from machines and equipment, to necessary materials and fashion accessories, and to the finished product.
In the sector of the ready-to-wear garments (knitted fabrics and ready-made garments) 45 firms showed their new collections and the opportunities for execution of customers’ orders; more than 50 were the firms offering textile, yarns, subsidiary materials and accessories.
23 firms demonstrated the latest trends in equipment – sewing and knitting machines, ironing equipment, devices and appliances for a wide range of machines and automats, CAD/CAM systems, software and various services for the branch.
Especially Europes New Beckmachine, presented by its CEO Andreas Kirschbichler hit the expectations of Bgate's visitors.
17 Turkish companies took part in BGate 2006 with their own stands and on the stand of the Trade Chamber of Istanbul 21 firms looked for Bulgarian partners.
The exhibition was visited by over 1700 people as some of the foreign guests arrived particularly for BGate. Among them were representatives of Synthesia – Slovakia, Induyco, Guido and Groupe Cortefiel – Spain, Svarovski – Austria, BTI – Fashion and Brisk Fashion – Holland, Jean Francois Lagarde, Atelier de Belleville, Bragard and CSV – France, Kivat – Finland, Canada International, Gerhard Topp, Tydeus and Franken Berger – Germany, Mike – USA, Mathie Brand – Denmark, Reiss – Great Britain, Yendiswiss – Switzerland, Levi Strauss & Co – Greece, Prym Fashion – Romania. Representatives of two of the biggest sepcialised editions in Europe – Textil Wirtschaft (Germany) and Apparel Press (Great Britain) also visited BGate 2006.
The exhibition, where the Bulgarian producers of garments meet, again was attended by fashion shows. During the official opening some of the approved fashion houses in Bulgaria – Etere, Mir, Markam, New Style, Magik, Brunelli and Confector – presented their collections for the next season. The graduating designers of New Bulgarian University were given the opportunity to show their collections on a separate show during the first day of the exhibition.
